I love to golf and I am looking to play with someone who is funny and light hearted. I got addicted to golf when I was in sales and my customers wanted to play and I jumped in. I took lessons and went to clinics but I am inconsistent at times.
I follow golf etiquette but I need to re-establish a USGA handicap. I like to play at the Smithtown Landing but I am more suited for the Dix Hills golf course. I don’t mind picking up my ball to keep the pace of play but I play best when I don’t feel pressured and I compete with myself more than my partner as I strive to improve my game. I am cheerful and like to enjoy the outdoors and the serenity of a beautiful course. I like to be with people whom I feel comfortable with and golfing with someone is a great way to get to know a person.
I am hoping to meet people on this site who are respectful, kind and friendly. I hope to make some friends and I like when people are honest and direct. I would enjoy meeting someone likeminded and who is a gentlemen. I love to have a good laugh, and prefer someone local.
