Widowed 62 yr old moved to NC from NH last yr with my dog, Liz ( choc. lab). Looking for a mate that enjoys outdoors, sports and fun in general. Easy going successful engineering guy with new RV purchased just prior to being widowed & would love to travel the country, but not alone if possible.
I have lots to offer but just am not good at trying to tell folks that. I have 2 older daughters but otherwise on my own with Lizzy.
Most of my time now is spent trying to prepare for retirement while finding the 'special mate' to help find a new location to call home with me. This is where the RV comes into play. Ideal plans would be to travel the country & golf everywhere while doing so until 1 destination feels right for my next home.
Would love to have someone to share my life with moving forward! I treasure memories, but don't hold anything in the past against anyone. We all learn and grow from life. No grudges or time for being angry. I focus on being happy and having fun, of course while being smart and responsible about my actions.
Lastly, I am a bit shy and haven't dated for 20+ years, so hopefully I can find an understanding person who can get to know me and share life together.
