I Would Describe Myself As

Call me an optimist, but I tend to believe that things will work, no matter how bad. My positive outlook has helped me get through a lot of challenges. After a 15 year absence, I have moved back to the Sacramento area. A lot of reasons to move back home, one being my son and his wife, as well as a lot of good friends, plus the abundance of golf courses in the area. And my new business will be located here. I produce outdoor art festivals in the Northern CA and NV areas. I worked for FedEx for over 33 years, but retired from that to work for another company that produced art festivals. When that ended, I decided to strike out on my own, and so I will end up here. I already have 3 or 4 shows set for this coming year. It is a great job, can be demanding at times, but you meet a lot of great people! I am looking forward to getting to know the area again (a lot has changed!). A lot of wineries and breweries have popped up, and are fun to visit. I also like to play golf, do woodworking and volunteer. In regards to the one word description of my personality - how does anybody fit into one category? By the way, I am now 61 years old (as of April). For me, I am not so much stuck on age, as I am on attitude towards life. An outgoing positive attitude is a plus! If guns, camping, fishing are some of your favorite interests, then we would probably not be a good match. And I do have to say that I rarely watch sports on TV, am not into NASCAR (although I have been to a few races, and that is pretty cool!). I don't follow any teams, although I do have a soft spot for the SF Niners and the SF Giants, as that is where I grew up. Although, some would say I have yet to grow up, which is fine with me! So, if we seem to 'match' on paper, and you like my photos (which are accurate), if the words I wrote strike a chord with you, then we should plan on meeting for coffee or a drink.
