I truely love life & golf in Oregon

I Would Describe Myself As

I've been in education all of my life (teaching, coaching and administration) and I think that describes who I am and whats important to me. I have always sought out new experiences and opportunities and would enjoy being with someone who is adventurous as well.For the last 15 years I've been a single dad and put all of my time and energy in to my amazing kids (my daughter is going to be a sophomore in college and my son is out and working). I haven't allowed myself to look for a relationship, it's not that I'm shy, I'm really very outgoing, but I have simply not taken the time to consider a relationship. Sounds sad but I have a lot of good friends and family in the Portland area to keep me busy.I've been very lucky to have traveled (Norway, British Isles, Africa, France, Sweden...) and I would love to spend time with someone who enjoys traveling as well. Meeting new people and stepping out of the "comfort zone" is a great way to experience life! Life's full of surprises and challenges and I think the best approach is to have a good sense of humor, strong values and a commitment to community, friends and family. Oh, and it's safe to say I'm a hopeless romantic who loves to dance in public (and private!) and believes that holding the door and flowers for no particular reason is a good thing:-))What am I looking for in a partner? Well... I see life as an adventure, filled with opportunity and challenges so I hope to spend time with someone who loves to laugh, explore, dance (in public and alone!) and wants to have a meaningful caring relationship.
