I recently retired and moved to Little River all in one fell swoop. Didn’t know anyone here when I bought the condo. Now you know why I’m trying this app. I enjoy golf very much, but I also enjoy fishing, movies, travel, going to baseball games, cooking and more.
I have two adult daughters. They’re both in cities you like to visit but not live in, NYC and DC.
Chicago sports fan: Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks.(and now the Pelicans) I’ve worked hard to get to this point in my life and it’s time to enjoy it. Meeting new people is part of the process. I’m not so sure a round of golf is best activity to do the first time we meet each other. Being with someone for 4hrs you didn’t click with after the first hour wouldn’t be very pleasant. How about we meet for lunch at a restaurant on the water and see how it goes. My golf motto is very simple: I don’t care if you shoot 150 as long as you keep moving. FAIR?? BTW: My favorite part of golf is playing at dusk when the shadows get long and the fairways become Kelly Green like the hillsides of Ireland.
