I am currently living in Lago Patria outside of Naples, Italy working for the U. S. Navy. My home course at the moment is Circolo Golf Napoli. It is nestled inside a dormant volcano. My home is in Pinehurst, NC. I plan to return home for good in about 18 months. I plan to continue working for the next 5 years or so which means golf will have to remain a part time weekend thing. I play golf as a social event. Never played enough to be good and realize that to be good you have to play often. So, I don’t get angry and throw clubs and have tantrums. If it isn’t fun, why do it. I get enough frustration at work. I like to think golf eases the frustration not compounds it. I believe I am a kind and generous soul who enjoys the more simple life. Spending time with family and friends. I have a daughter and two sons. I have two granddaughters (one is an adult and the other is a preschooler) and a grandson who is a toddler.
The younger two live with my daughter’s family in Georgia.
My sons live in Pinehurst. I am just looking for someone who who is like minded, (I am definitely on the conservative side) who enjoys gentle music. I am a fan of classical music (Brahms and Rachmaninov), Barbershop Harmony, and the 40s and 50s crooners (Dean Martin and Bing Crosby over Sinatra but I enjoy some of Sinatra’s stuff) and old Country (Patsy Cline and Merle Haggard). My younger days were spent parachuting, mountain climbing, SCUBA diving, and rodeoing (rode Bulls and bareback broncs) so I really enjoy Western or Cowboy music over the old country music. I have traveled the world for work and for fun, moving 25 times to live in different states and six different countries. My undergraduate degree is in Education and my Graduate degree is in Acquisition and Procurement so I can carry on a conversation with just about anyone. I am an extrovert but not to the obnoxious point. My mother says I can go into a pub alone and come out with 50 new friends. My favorite drink is Guinness on tap. I don’t drink much liquor. Just prefer beer. Red wine is OK on occasion but I am definitely not a Wino.
I am not here searching for the love of my life. If that happens then I will be over the moon. I am searching for a like mined woman to play golf with and spend time getting to know. I am not here for the dating games and catfishers. Not my style. So, I guess now we see what happens. I wish you all success in your life and hope you find the happiness you seek.
