I Would Describe Myself As

I've had a very good life and would like to share my experiences, while sharing yours, and then make more memories together!

I've been a single parent, raising one daughter who is a successful professional and produced two of the best grandsons (now 13 and 10). Since they live in the Philly area, I go up there and they come down to visit me for golf and to hangout.

Not being a cold weather person and having grown up in the snow belt of Syracuse, I moved around a bit: To Detroit and then my company moved me to the LA area. From there I went north to SF/Marin County and then moved back East to Philly. When my daughter went off to college, I began searching for a different retirement area and 17 yeaars ago I found the the Pinehurst, NC Sandhills area..... the "gem" that I was looking for. My condominium is on a golf course and I frequent the driving range area almost every night for exercise --- (It hasn't improved my game too much but I truly enjoy it!)

I'm in quite good shape and, being cautious about sports which may lead to physical injury, I'm more committed to golf, water, walking, bowling and easy hikes.

My professional background began in Social Work for Preschools and then I transitioned to the business field, eventually starting my professsional employment recruiter business where I still work periodically. I'm active in our Singles Golf group, volunteer for the Philharmonic, enjoy the theatre and would like to travel around the US to various golf resorts while exploring the tucked-away sites of various cities on the way.
