Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I love beaches, books, fishing, music, cooking and staying in shape. I also love good friends, theater, sunshine and rain. (I still love each season as it comes around.) And then there's playing golf, which I do with great enjoyment and undeterred hope that I will someday shoot a round of par. (Here's hoping.) That said, I am a semi-retired writer who grew up in the 1960s and 1970s and still find it hard to believe that all my wilder years ended up with me happily putt-zing around on a golf course.(Hey, no paragraph breaks: what gives?) OK, I have three grown boys, who are not part of the equation here, except that they even outrank golf in my life, if only during the off season or on rainy days. Two are in college, one is a senior in high school. The empty nest is just around the corner. (Paragraph break): I would love to tour the golf courses of the world with a fun-loving, bright companion who is young at heart even if the frame is wobbling a bit. Also, as it happens, I don't smoke or drink, although I don't mind if you drink socially. I guess that makes me the perfect designated driver on the course and off --
